Villa de Leyva Day Trip from Bogota
Villa de Leyva is a gorgeous – beatiful colonial town. Villa de leyva is a city frozen in the time because preserve the original colonial style. Declared a national monument in 1954. From its foundation in 1572 Villa de Leyva has been a peaceful village where the Spaniards, Colombians, writters, poets, thinkers, adventurers, Backpackers and visitors around the world have gone looking for quiet atmosphere, beauty landscape and attracted by the dry climate, friendly people and wide history.
On our tour from Bogotá you will be transfer to Villa de Leyva enjoying on the way the gorgeous views of the cities and municipalities near to Bogotá.
When you get to Villa de Leyva you will enjoy this beautiful town and you will be accompany by our professional driver to visit the cobbled alleys, colonial houses and the Plaza Mayor (main square) it is the second larggest square in a town in America. It´s paved with massive cobblestones and surrounded by magnificent colonial structures with a small mudejar fountain in its middle.

2. Paleontological Museum: (With a real exposition of Fosils and Dinosaurs found them in Villa de Leyva and around, with colombian research and scientific information).
3. Ancient Monastery of Santo Ecce Homo or Visit to Ostriches park (The customer has to choose one of these 2 attractions to visit).
3. Raquira Municipality: It is the capital of mud`s handicrafts where the locals has an entire tradition of making pieces and sculptures of mud.
