BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR ANY DAY TOUR IN BOGOTÁ .

 P.1. To guarantee the reservation of the tourist service must be paid in advance a minimum of 20% of the total value of the tour and the balance can be paid in cash at the beginning of the tour. And in case of cancellation the 50% of the previously paid deposit of 20% will be refunded regardless of the date which the cancellation is confirmed. However, this will not apply for cancellations confirmed 72 hours (3 days) before or prior to the operation and development of tour. If the cancellation is made into the 72 hours (3 days) before the tour Bogotravel tours will NOT make any refund.

P.2. If the customer after paying 100% of the tour wants or needs to cancel the reservation, we will refund 90% of the total value of the tour. This will not apply for cancellations confirmed 72 hours (3 days) before the operation and development of tour. If the cancellation is made into the 72 hours (3 days) before the tour Bogotravel tours will refund 80% of the total paid.

 P.3. If customer after paying 100% or 20% of the tour / service wants or needs to change the date of operation of the tour initially booked regardless of the date which customer inform it to us we will confirm our availability to make the change. But If date change of the tour wouldn´t possible Bogotravel tours will offer you a second option of tour / service otherwise will be canceled the tour / service and we will proceed to refund the corresponding value according with our booking / cancellation policies informed above (P.1 and P.2).

 P.4. If the tour is private for a group, the quoted value corresponds to a certain number of people and their value may vary according to the number of people. For that reason, it is advised the client makes the reservation when have absolute certainty of the number of people who will take the service because if the number of passengers to book is different the cost will have to reconsidered.

 P.5. If the customer who booked a tourist service have made it for one group and one member of it confirms the cancellation of the tour with a previous time of 1 month and 25 days or more, we will understand that the operation of tour and your reservation will be for a smaller group than booked before. For that reason the group and its members, Bogotravel tours will quote the customer the same booked service, but with different price for the new number of people to book, taking the deposited amount of the customer who canceled as part of the payment of the reservation of the group and the rest of its members.

 P.6. FOR BIKE TOURS IN BOGOTA:  To guarantee the reservation of any individual bicycle tour in Bogota must be paid in advance a minimum of 50% of the total value of the tour and the balance can be paid in cash at the beginning of the tour. And in case of cancellation the paid deposit of 50% will be refunded regardless of the date which the cancellation is confirmed. However, this will not apply for cancellations confirmed 72 hours (3 days) before or prior to the operation and development of the Bike tour. If the cancellation is made into the 72 hours (3 days) before the Bike tour Bogotravel tours will NOT make any refund.

If the tour is cancel due reasons of weather the same day of the tour. The paid deposit won’t be refunded. If the client paid the full amount the 50% of the amount will be refunded.

P.7. When no show: If customer doesn´t show up at the agreed time and pick up point or If is not possible to get in touch with the customer to start the service by any way (WhatsApp, Email, mobile) we will wait a maximum of 35 minutes otherwise we will cancel the tour keeping the deposit of the tour.

When the customer book any service or tour with us, the client compliance, understands and agrees the policies terms and conditions of Bogotravel tours.

 

FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FROM / TO AIRPORT IN BOGOTÁ, MEDELLIN AND CARTAGENA.

To make booking for any transprotation service from or to the airport. Is requested the full payment of the service in advance. 

 

  • (If the passenger’s flight itinerary is within the scheduled arrival time to the airport) and in case the client does not show up at the agreed time at the agreed meeting point at the airport, Bogotravel Tours will wait up to 45 more minutes later. from the time agreed by the client to start the tour. During the 45 minutes we will try to contact the passenger by some of the means through which the client has booked (WhatsApp / Email) we will send photos, videos, recordings and messages that corroborate our presence or attendance at the agreed meeting point. In the event that the passenger does not show up or communicate with us, the Transportation Service will be considered canceled and the total value of the service will be charged since the personnel and vehicle were available for the required and reserved services.

 

  • If there are delays and the airline does not update or report on time (Minutes before the flight takeoff time or during the flight) of the plane’s delay on the internet or the airline’s official website. The start of the transport service from the airport is carried out from the time set as “pick-up time” agreed with the client. We will take photos or “screeshots” that will show that it was not updated or reported by the airline about delays. In this case, the value of the service will be charged in its entirety and no refund will apply.

 

  • Bogotravel tours will not refund payments FOR CANCELLATIONS confirmed by the passenger (24 hours or less before the flight). In case of flight cancellations made by the same airline, in which the airline cancels the arrival flight to the destination airport or changes the flight date, this information must be true and verifiable with proof of the same cancellation as; (screenshots / images of the email or itinerary of the airline with the change or cancellation of the flight). If this is the case, Bogotravel tours will apply the following cancellation policies:

1 – For confirmed cancellations between 25 to 71 Hours (Between 1 day to almost 3 Days) prior to the start time of the reserved tour. A refund of 90% of the total value of the service will be made. Note: The cancellation must be reported in writing and sent by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com or WhatsApp +57 313 3680441.

2 – For confirmed cancellations between 8 to 24 hours prior to the start time of the reserved tour. If the passenger paid the entire transportation service, 80% of the value deposited will be refunded. Note: The cancellation must be reported in writing and sent by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com or WhatsApp +57 313 3680441.

3 – For confirmed cancellations between 8 to 0 hours prior to the start time of the reserved tour. Bogotravel tours will apply a refund of 50% of the value deposited. Note: The cancellation must be reported in writing and sent by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com or WhatsApp +57 313 3680441.

The respective refund amounts correspond to the net payment received by Bogotravel tours. Transaction taxes or extra values incurred for the payment of the reservation or costs for the payment of the return will not be part of the value of the same return. Returns or refunds of money will be paid through the PayPal payment platform. And for case # 1, the refund or return will be made to the passenger’s credit card.

 

When the client books any service or tour with us, the client agrees, understands and accepts the policies, terms and conditions of Bogotravel tours.
