GUATAPE DAY TOUR AND PEÑOL STONE
Our day trip to Guatape and Peñol rock starts from Medellin you will enjoy, have fun and relax outside of Medellin, 1.5 hour from Medellin. Visiting Guatape town and the famous stone of “El peñol”named “La piedra del peñol” which is a monolith from where is enjoyable the view of the dam of Guatape and its small islands creating private areas for some High class and rich owners. You will see the colorful town of Guatape with its picturesque walls on each house. You will visit first “New Peñol town” then the monolith (Peñol stone) or “La piedra del peñol” afer you will enjoy a typical Colombian lunch with the rock in front of you and then we will guide you through Guatape town and around to go back to Medellin.
